We are seeking a National Sales Manager for a permanent role based in Rivonia, Gauteng.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree / Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant experience in the automotive industry
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Assertive & deadline driven

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Dealer development – develop dealer plans; identify suitable potential dealers; develop promotional plans; advise on the liaison between OEM and dealers; meet sales targets for dealers and ensure the completion of their task targets; organize dealer meetings
  • Business development – develop fleet business and identify potential key customers; follow up on the implementation of fleet and car rental projects; develop finance and retail financial business; enhance competitiveness in automotive finance; develop government procurement business
  • Management – manage members of the dealer relations team; develop KPIs and ensure achievement; develop processes and systems related to distributor business and development; produce reports; prepare proposals and reports for the company
  • General – support other business lines within the department; organize marketing meetings; represent the company at internal and external events; maintain relationships with key stakeholders; advise on business standards adherence
