Our client is a multi-vendor, value-added solutions provider with branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town offering Managed IT Services. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to drive their sales strategy and lead their sales team to new heights.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the national sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales goals
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of the sales ecosystem, including market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Leverage in-depth product knowledge within the IT arena to effectively position and sell our solutions
  • Understand and navigate the PC market as well as enterprise solutions within the IT sector
  • Manage and oversee tender business processes, ensuring compliance and successful bid submissions
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing / Management / Information Technology, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Proven experience as a National Sales Manager or similar senior sales role within the IT industry
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent understanding of the sales ecosystem and market dynamics
  • In-depth product knowledge within the IT arena, including the PC market and enterprise solutions
  • Experience in managing tender business processes and successful bid submissions
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service
