National Promotions Admin Controller

Our client, a leader in the retail industry is seeking a National Promotions Admin Controller to join their team based in Pinetown.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Marketing / BCom Degree / equivalent
2. Knowledge of POS systems and campaign tracking platforms.
3. Strong analytical skills with experience managing large datasets (Excel, Google Sheets).
4. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple deadlines.
5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
6. Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers, finance, and internal teams.
7. 3-5 Years previous experience in loyalty programs, rewards campaigns, or retail promotions is an advantage.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS

Reward Campaign Management :

1. Generate templates with national rewards products, redemption values, and barcodes for central office, and co-ordinate the same from regional reward campaign managers (mid-month, month-end, and special campaigns).
2. Ensure all products and barcodes are accurately listed on the rewards platform (national, regional, and cross-border).
3. Load national and regional rewards campaigns onto company console system.
4. Copy and publish national / regional reward campaigns to cross-border regions, ensuring proper approvals.
5. Coordinate sign-offs for both national and regional campaigns.
6. Publish national and regional campaigns, logging updates in relevant platforms.

Campaign Support & Troubleshooting :

1. Act as a support liaison for the Retail Helpdesk, Rewards Call Centre, and Customer Care teams.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to national and regional Reward campaigns, coordinating with internal teams and regional contacts.
3. Ensuring all calls are logged accurately and in full via the support logging software.
4. Weekly / Monthly reporting on all logged calls.

Training & Debriefing :

1. Conduct training on the rewards platform for regional teams, assisting with campaign setup.
2. Debrief Retail Helpdesk, Rewards Call Centre, and Customer Care teams on upcoming campaigns, promotions, and competitions.

Administration :

1. Load & maintain national promotional grids on intranet.
2. Update & maintain all supplier ad spend contracts.
3. Generate supplier invoices for national rewards campaigns.
