West Coast Personnel is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership across four manufacturing facilities. You will mentor Operations Managers, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery of quality outputs while managing budgets and supplier relationships.

The role emphasizes optimizing production, plant efficiency and safety compliance, with nationwide travel between sites. A strong financial mindset and proven multi-site management are essential.

Formación

• 3-year tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, Agriculture or related field.
• 8–12 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably animal feed manufacturing or related industry.
• Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Strong financial and commercial expertise, including budgeting, cost control and profitability management.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Willingness to travel nationally between facilities.

• Proven experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations – ESSENTIAL.


• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operational management teams.


• Strong financial and commercial expertise, including budgeting, cost control and profitability management.


• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, plant performance and operational efficiency.


• Experience implementing continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.


• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.


• Highly motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.


• Willingness to travel nationally between operational facilities.
