A leading company in the retail property sector is seeking a National Marketing Manager. This role will drive brand presence and revenue generation while managing regional marketing teams. Job PurposeThis role leads the strategic direction and operational execution of marketing initiatives across a national property portfolio.
The National Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand presence, revenue generation (including Non-GLA income), customer engagement, and innovation through the leadership of regional marketing teams and the development of integrated marketing strategies aligned to business goals.Ideal for a commercially driven marketing leader with strong people management capabilities, this role requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical skill, and a deep understanding of consumer trends, market dynamics, and brand development within the retail property sector.Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide regional marketing managers in developing and executing centre-specific marketing strategies.
Oversee national marketing planning, campaign execution, research, and innovation across the portfolio.
Drive strategic alignment between marketing operations and broader organizational goals.
Manage and grow Non-GLA revenue streams through effective commercial and alternative income initiatives.
Develop and monitor customer satisfaction frameworks for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategy and customer engagement.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and reporting standards.
Provide leadership and performance management to the national marketing team, including coaching, development, and motivation.
Lead stakeholder engagement with asset managers, executive teams, tenants, and service providers.
Oversee marketing budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis for all centres.
Innovate marketing approaches through data-driven insights, digital tools, and continuous improvement.
Represent marketing in bids and tenders for new contracts and service providers.
RequirementsExperience
3–6 years in a marketing leadership role, including experience managing regional teams.
Proven experience in campaign strategy, execution, customer research, and commercial marketing.
Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and managing revenue targets.
