In this position, the incumbent is responsible for defining the maintenance strategy, workforce budget, training and qualification requirements, and subcontracting policy based on facility type, equipment, and process needs.
Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans and managing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure reliable and efficient operations, tracking KPIs, controlling budgets and resources, managing spare parts, and ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.
The role promotes continuous improvement through incident and cost analysis, leads standards implementation, provides technical project support, collaborates on improvements, reports on performance, oversees audits, and manages maintenance subcontractors to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure asset reliability.
Key duties include defining and implementing maintenance strategies for various installations, developing maintenance plans and work instructions, identifying critical spare parts through Vulnerability Studies, and ensuring the effective use of CMMS.
The position requires managing maintenance processes and KPIs such as planned/unplanned maintenance, MTBF, TCM, and TCO, with all activities tracked in CMMS. It involves participating in professional communities, analyzing safety and reliability incidents, customer claims, and costs to identify improvements, and ensuring SOPs and maintenance programs align with overall strategies and procurement policies.
The role involves driving maintenance performance improvements, ensuring effective training and qualification programs, supporting offer and contract technicalities, and defining process improvement strategies in collaboration with leadership teams.
Additional responsibilities include setting annual objectives, providing monthly CMMS data reports, managing internal audits, overseeing financial controls, managing maintenance inventory, and acting as a Design Authority for projects. Developing SLAs with procurement to ensure subcontractor compliance with HSE policies is also essential.
