Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the sales and key account management of the Stryker Emergency Care range of products, including maintaining and growing existing business and expanding sales within the assigned territory.
2. Scheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers; and sub-distributors.
3. Demonstration of products to Clinical personnel.
4. Achieving Sales Targets.
5. Networking and developing relationships with new customers and managing existing customers.
6. Requesting and following up on quotations.
7. General Administration associated with the position.
8. Assisting and supporting technical services where needed.
9. All activities to be recorded on Force Manager CRM.
10. Marketing Responsibilities:
11. Responsible for workshops and various conferences as needed.
12. Achieving and managing Sales budgeting per territory for the SBU.
13. Effective implementation of tactical and strategic plan.
14. Effective marketing activities, including congresses and customer workshops and educational events.
15. Daily calls to customers and new prospects.
16. Effective promotion of all products offered in this portfolio.
17. Sales knowledge to allow for effective selling of product features and benefits.
18. Evaluation, analysis, and reporting on Competitors' products, driving strategies and appropriate business responses.
19. Customer Relations Responsibilities:
20. Establish a network with stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders.
21. Build and maintain strong relations with all stakeholders, including customers, payers, government, and employees in representing our full line of products and services.
22. Gather customer requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
23. Assist with successful congresses and training workshops.
24. Manage relationships with all customers, prospects, and key opinion leaders.
25. Utilize customer profiling and mapping tools to grow product families according to customer need but in line with our business strategy.
26. Sales Reports and Administration Responsibilities:
27. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales budgets for the SBU.
28. Assist with Daily Ariba / Trade world, tender input, and quote requests.
29. Expense claims handed in on time as per the schedule received from Finance with correct cost allocations.
30. Monthly reports to the Business Unit Manager submitted before 5th of the month.
31. Weekly call reports and planners to be recorded on Force Manager and sent to the Business Unit Manager.
32. Compliance to regulatory SOPs, SA Regulations, and Code of Business Ethics.
33. Training Responsibilities:
34. Maintain a high level of motivation to ensure marketing function is well implemented.
35. Preparation and conducting of presentations at Sales Consultants' and management meetings.
36. Assist with product queries and/or technical/clinical application information.
37. Identify and implement educational events for customers to achieve growth.
38. Train new customers on the range of products as set out by your manager.
39. Reporting Responsibilities:
40. Adhere to credit policies and procedures of the group.
41. Maintain all administrative responsibilities associated with this position, including monthly reporting on marketing activities.
42. Ensure all product and marketing activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
43. Stock Management Responsibilities:
44. Assist with stock rotation and slow-moving identification and returns.
45. Management of demo equipment allocated to customers.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12 (NSC) is a minimum requirement.
2. A relevant degree or diploma is an advantage.
3. Project management and Sales experience an advantage.
4. Qualified Paramedic is a must for this role (alternatively, extensive experience with EMS).
5. Previous Key Account Management experience needed.
6. Computer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word is a requirement for this position.

Salary: R60 - R65 per month (CTC)

Includes: Travel Allowance, Pension, Medical Aid.

In addition, our client will supply a laptop, iPad, Fuel Card, and reimburse Cell Phone (R) and Data (up to Rpm).
