Job description

Our client is looking to employ an experienced Application Specialist for their Ultrasound Division. This is a National position based in Gauteng.

Candidates will report to the National Sales Manager.

Areas of Responsibility

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Ultrasound product range and services provided;
• Scheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers;
• Demonstrating products to Clinical personnel and providing on-going training and support to customers;
• Installations of New systems sold;
• Log all activities in Force Manager and maintain correct and up to date information in the tool;
• Responsible for networking with and development of relationships with new customers and managing existing customers;
• Correct Management of demo stock;
• Attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required promoting Ultrasound products and services;
• Analysing the market and providing business feedback by using all available support tools;
• General Administration associated with the position;
• Support all branches and reps with applications on ultrasound portfolio;
• Assist with training existing and new reps with product and applications
• 80% travel through the country;
• International travel if needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

• A Grade 12 certificate as a minimum requirement plus a Sonography qualification is required.
• Experience required - at least 2 years in a similar role
• Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to a local language;
• Sonography background is required;
• Previous experience in a similar position in the medical industry is required.
• Computer Skills in MS Office and specifically Excel advanced – is a requirement;
• Own reliable Vehicle required as well as a valid driver’s license
