Role Purpose

You will be responsible for developing and implementing account-specific business plans, achieving profitability and sales targets, serving as the primary account contact, and providing account leadership.
Requirements
- BCom Degree or equivalent with Marketing, Sales, or Strategy specialization
- 5 years’ senior-level experience in Customer Services / Sales & Distribution environment
- Experience in an FMCG environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of business processes
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
- Resilient with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel nationally
- Experience in managing a diverse Regional Accounts team
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing trade segmentation and Go to Market Strategy
- Coordinate with Customer Marketing and Consumer Insights to validate channel segmentation based on shopper profiles
- Define the role of service providers and identify pricing flow for key SKUs
- Optimize distribution and coverage cost-effectively
Leading shopper insight development by channel
- Collaborate with Marketing and Insights to develop research programs
- Build expertise in channel environments and shopping behaviors
Assessment of Category Performance
- Identify sales growth opportunities in various channels
- Set objectives and KPIs, ensuring tracking mechanisms are in place
- Respond proactively to competitive moves
- Review and adjust channel plans to meet brand and sales objectives
- Analyze promotions and adjust strategies for better ROI
Defining 6P Strategy by Channel
- Use insights to develop recommendations for product, pricing, promotion, placement, and POP media
- Provide guidelines for in-store management and execution
Objective Setting and Activity Coordination
- Coordinate planning and execution of activities
- Optimize resource allocation and trade spending
Commercial Management
- Assist in developing channel-specific strategies and in-store programs to meet budgets
- Manage risks and identify opportunities
