The ideal candidate will have strong child development knowledge, First Aid/CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and excellent references.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Nanny or Governess with excellent references.
• Solid understanding of child development from infancy through school age.
• Ability to create and implement engaging learning activities.
• Good cooking skills, with experience preparing healthy meals for children.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification are mandatory.
• A calm, patient, and responsible demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Manage daily schedules including meals, naps, and playtime.
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.

• Light housekeeping duties directly related to the children's care (e.g., tidying play areas, children's laundry).
• Transport children to and from school, activities, or appointments as needed.
