About the Role

Our client, a discerning family residing in Centurion, Gauteng , is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Pediatric Nanny to provide high-quality care for their young child/children. This is a live-out position requiring a proactive, nurturing, and responsible individual with a profound understanding of child development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the child's daily routines, educational activities, and overall well-being. This role demands patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for creating a safe, stimulating, and loving environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the child/children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, including playtime, crafts, and reading.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child/children, adhering to any dietary guidelines.
• Manage daily routines, including waking up, dressing, bathing, naps, and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized play area and the child's living space.
• Accompany the child/children to appointments, extracurricular activities, and outings as needed.
• Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Implement discipline and guidance strategies consistent with the parents' approach.
• Ensure the child's safety during all activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny, preferably with experience caring for infants and toddlers.
• A strong understanding of child development stages and appropriate care practices.
• Excellent knowledge of child safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Patience, empathy, reliability, and a warm, nurturing personality.
• Ability to create engaging and educational activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaunt effectively with parents.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• A clean criminal record check.
• Preference for candidates with a qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• Ability to provide excellent references from previous childcare positions.
