Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable, experienced Nanny/Childcare Provider for a private family in Randburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on nurturing care, safety, and development for young children in a live-out arrangement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional childcare experience, references, CPR and First Aid certifications, a valid driver's license, and a clean record. You will plan age-appropriate activities and support daily routines with discretion and warmth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional childcare experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent references from previous families.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for the child/children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Plan age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child/children.
• Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and nap times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the child/children.
• Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, or appointments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents about the child's day, progress, and any concerns.
• Implement consistent discipline and guidance strategies as agreed with the parents.
