Job summary

Crew Life at Sea is seeking a skilled Nail Therapist to deliver professional nail care and beauty services on an international cruise ship. You will maintain high hygiene standards and guest satisfaction while performing manicures, pedicures, nail art, and extensions.

German language skills are preferred, with English considered if willing to undertake onboard German lessons. Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment are essential.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nail treatments while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, service, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicures and pedicures.
• Provide nail art and painted designs.
• Apply acrylic nails and nail extensions.
• Perform UV polish services.
• Apply nail stones and other decorative enhancements.
• Consult with guests regarding their nail care needs.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised treatment area.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Provide professional and friendly guest service.

Requirements

• Basic training in beauty therapy OR several years of relevant professional experience with a nail art certificate.
• Experience with manicures and pedicures.
• Experience with acrylics, UV polish, nail art, extensions, and nail decorations.
• Podiatry training or qualifications would be advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• German language skills preferred.

Language Requirements

• Native German speaker or approximately Berlitz Level 4 German.
• Candidates with strong qualifications and fluent English may also be considered if willing to attend German lessons onboard.
