Job summary

RMB - Rand Merchant Bank seeks a Murex Specialist to own the full lifecycle of trades from Pricing to Settlement, impacting Market Risk, Finance, and Collateral. You will enhance the Murex Platform to meet evolving business needs and collaborate with traders and stakeholders to document requirements and test deliverables.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, leadership in incident resolution, and ongoing development of platform capabilities within a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline is required.
• ACI Dealing Certificate advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Financial Markets systems and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing processes and facilitate improvements with stakeholders.
• Work with traders and other stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Conduct impact analysis and propose solutions.
• Coordinate and participate in the test effort to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
• Configure/Develop Solutions in the Murex Platform to meet business needs.
• Participate in analytical queries such as Risk, PnL and Pricing and related technical queries.
