Job Description

MiWay is seeking a creative multimedia graphic designer capable of translating concepts into traditional and multimedia design elements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or formal qualification in Graphic or Multimedia Design
• Three-year tertiary qualification in graphic/multimedia design or similar

Minimum Experience

• At least three years' experience, preferably with an advertising or digital agency or in-house digital team
• Adobe Creative Cloud: at least 3 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs and develop graphic and layout solutions
• Contribute ideas and design artwork
• Manage projects from conception to delivery
• Design for digital and print, including social media, banners, infographics, GIFs, and banners using tools like Google Web Designer
• Edit images, fonts, and layouts; apply typography techniques
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Required Skills and Tools

• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
• Basic video editing skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
• Excellent design skills, attention to detail, and understanding of current trends
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns
