Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with a strong portfolio in animation, motion graphics, and video editing.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic marketing agency situated in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, is looking for a talented and versatile Multimedia Content Creator & Animator. This role is pivotal in developing engaging and visually compelling content across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality animations, videos, graphics, and other multimedia assets that align with client brand identities and campaign objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and has a passion for innovative storytelling through visual media. You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to deliver exceptional creative solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients in the beautiful Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging 2D and 3D animations for marketing campaigns, social media, and corporate presentations.
• Develop motion graphics, video editing, and visual effects for various digital platforms.
• Design and produce static graphics, illustrations, and infographics as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand project requirements and translate them into creative visual concepts.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets.
• Edit raw video footage and add necessary effects, graphics, and sound.
• Ensure all created content adheres to brand guidelines and creative briefs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in animation, motion graphics, and digital content creation.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development for new projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Multimedia Content Creator or Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing animation, motion graphics, and video editing skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and animation tools like Toon Boom Harmony or Blender.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and storytelling.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Experience in a client-facing or agency environment is a plus.
• Must be able to work from our Mossel Bay, Western Cape office on a hybrid basis, contributing to both in-office and remote collaboration.
