A high-impact opportunity is available for a Tech Lead with strong expertise in multicast networking protocols. This role focuses on the design, development, and delivery of multicast control plane features that support high-performance group communication across LANs and WANs. You will drive innovation and stability in software that enables scalable, fault-tolerant, and bandwidth-efficient network communication.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features within the multicast control plane.
  
  
  
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve multicast-related bugs and customer-reported issues.
  
  
  
• Address engineering and customer-specific enhancements for multicast scalability and performance.
  
  
  
• Participate in peer design/code reviews and collaborate across teams to integrate multicast support.
  
  
  
• Create and maintain automated test suites to ensure robust handoff to QA teams.
  
  
  
• Contribute to detailed software documentation, including specifications and release notes.
  
  
  
• Support customer engagements by handling multicast-related queries and participating in issue triages.
  
  
  

Required Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of multicast protocols and group communication concepts (one-to-many, many-to-many).
  
  
  
• Experience developing for networking environments such as IPTV, satellite, cable hubs, or IP-based streaming.
  
  
  
• Proficiency in software development, ideally in C/C++, Python, or similar languages used in embedded or systems development.
  
  
  
• Familiarity with peer review practices, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development models.
  
  
  
• Ability to analyse and debug complex networking issues and deliver scalable solutions.
