Job summary

Hire Resolve in Bloemfontein, Free State, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to oversee end-to-end payroll across multiple sites. The role requires hands-on Sage 300 People HR, Payroll & ESS experience and the ability to manage shifts, complex pay rules and reconciliations.

You will ensure accuracy, comply with statutory requirements, support IRP5 and EMP201 processes, and collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll queries and issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator in a complex payroll environment.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Sage 300 People HR, Payroll & ESS.
• 2–4 years' relevant payroll experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, HR or a related field.
• Experience with multi-site, shift-based payroll, custom pay rules and reconciliations is highly advantageous.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• National Senior Certificate and valid driver's licence.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple sites.
• Process payroll including shifts, allowances, deductions and variable pay.
• Utilise Sage 300 People to validate payroll transactions.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and exceptions.
• Manage UIF administration and IRP5 reporting.
• Complete EMP201 validation and IOD administration.
• Manage benefit capturing, reconciliations and payment files.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Respond to payroll queries and resolve complex issues.
• Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams.
• Identify and resolve payroll issues before finalisation.
