Qualifications

Job description

Mr D, a division of the Takealot Group, is looking for a highly talented Retail Account Manager to join our team in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

This position reports to the Sales Regional Lead for Mr D.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Identify and prioritize suitable partners for the Mr D platform.
  2. Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  3. Own the partner sign-up process.
  4. Operate as the lead point of contact for shop partners.
  5. Strengthen relationships with partners and monitor their business and store performance.
  6. Ensure timely and effective solutions and feedback to partners.
  7. Maintain strict partner visit standards.
  8. Source promotions from partners that align with business objectives.
  9. Deliver against hub and regional advertising goals.
  10. Educate partners on available advertising tools and ensure uptake across a portfolio of partners.

Qualifications:
  1. Experience in marketplace, e-commerce SaaS, or retail sales.
  2. Minimum 2 years of prior sales experience.
  3. Proficiency in CRM tools (not essential).
  4. Experience in the hospitality industry (not essential).
  5. Tertiary qualification (not essential).
