Motsepe Foundation Bursary 2026 for South Africans

About Motsepe Foundation Bursary

Motsepe Foundation is currently accepting applications for 2026 academic year bursaries.

Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies withinSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:

  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • You must have achieved a minimum average of 70% for core subjects
  • You must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate degree qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above (the bursary will NOT fund Diploma, Extended Programs and Postgraduate studies)
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised tertiary institute within South Africa
  • You must have proven financial need
  • Preference will be given to students completing Matric in 2025
