Job description

Join to apply for the Motor and Home Direct Sales Agent role at Level-Up. The sales agent's primary role is to serve as a strong brand ambassador, driving the growth of the in-force book by selling personal lines products on behalf of insurer partners.

Success in this role is achieved by educating customers on the benefits of available products, delivering exceptional customer service, and consistently surpassing sales targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive policy sales and maximize monthly written premiums while ensuring compliance and a customer-focused approach.
  2. Maintain responsiveness, professionalism, and courtesy when engaging with lead providers and customers.
  3. Execute the sales process with expertise, diligence, integrity, and a strong knowledge base.
  4. Offer competitor quotes when relevant to align with customer needs and provide suitable options.
  5. Enhance each sales opportunity by offering additional products where available.
  6. Utilize effective interpersonal and communication skills to build customer confidence and product acceptance.
  7. Identify customer needs through active listening and asking insightful questions.
  8. Align product benefits with customer requirements and clearly demonstrate value.
  9. Address and resolve customer objections with well-considered responses.
  10. Develop industry expertise through continuous learning, observation, and collaboration.
  11. Continuously refine skills by focusing on identified areas for improvement.
  12. Contribute ideas and insights to enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
  13. Demonstrate self-motivation, maximize productivity, and manage time efficiently while working remotely.
Requirements
  1. Matric / Grade 12
  2. RE5
  3. FETC: Short-term Insurance NQF4 or better (preferred)
  4. Meet the regulatory requirements (e.g. DOFA period, FAIS Fit & Proper)
  5. 3 years call centre sales experience
  6. 1 year outbound call centre sales experience
  7. 2 years motor and home sales experience
  8. Fluency in English is essential plus one other official language
