HelloKindred in Cape Town is seeking a Mid-Weight Motion & Video Designer to create, edit, and deliver engaging animations and video content for web, social, and events. You will own projects from brief through final delivery, working independently across motion design and video production to meet brand standards.

The role requires a strong portfolio, proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, and the ability to collaborate with designers, marketers, and copywriters in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 4+ years in motion design and video production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion and video work.
• Experience with brand design systems.
• Accessibility in design experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Create and produce high-quality animations, motion graphics, and video content for web, social, presentations and events.
• Own assigned motion and video projects from brief to final delivery, making day-to-day creative decisions within brand guidelines.
• Take projects from concept through to completion, including storyboarding, design, editing and post-production.
• Develop storyboards and design concepts that align with project briefs and brand guidelines.
• Incorporate graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions and other visual elements to elevate production quality.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, copywriters, and stakeholders to bring concepts to life through animation and video.
• Generate innovative ideas and concepts for motion and video projects that capture attention and convey messages.
• Work with branding team to develop and maintain motion design templates and assets.
• Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines with consistent visual style.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Communicate progress and address challenges with team members and stakeholders.
• Utilize industry-standard software to create and edit motion content; maintain organized project libraries.
• Stay updated with trends and techniques in motion design and video production.
