Job summary

Hollywoodbets seeks a Motion Graphic Designer to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. You will design motion graphics for video intros and explainers, and integrate animations into live footage, working closely with the creative team.

The role requires proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Cinema 4D, plus a graphic design qualification and a valid driver’s license. You will craft event videos, adapt artwork for campaigns, and help keep brand consistency across channels.

Qualifications

• Completed or Studying towards a qualification in Graphic Design
• Clear understanding of graphic design principles and multimedia
• Ability to produce motion graphics for video intros and explainers

Responsibilities

• Create animations for event and marketing videos such as lower thirds, titles, and explainer videos
• Edit video and record audio for animations
• Collaborate with designers to implement artwork to brief
• Adapt promotional artwork for video production
• Produce creative promotional artwork and maintain department workflows
• Create visuals for digital marketing across social platforms
• Keep up with industry trends and brainstorm new visual ideas
• Liaise with design and copy teams to execute campaign vision
