Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Motion Graphics Designer to join their growing marketing and content team in Paarl. You will create animated graphics, lower thirds, title sequences and explainer videos, collaborating with designers, videographers, and marketing specialists to bring concepts to life with impact.

You should have a strong portfolio and proven experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus a solid grasp of animation principles, typography, color

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative animation and design skills.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, and solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and visual composition.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate visually engaging motion graphics for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and internal communications.
• Develop animated explainer videos, title sequences, and dynamic infographics that simplify complex information.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and storyboard motion graphics projects.
• Ensure all motion graphics align with brand identity, style guides, and project objectives.
• Work with video editors to integrate motion graphics seamlessly into live-action footage or other video content.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion graphics and animation software.
