Placements24 is hiring a Motion Graphics Designer for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will create engaging animations, explainer videos, and visual effects to strengthen brand storytelling.

The ideal candidate has a strong reel and proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing and producing engaging animations, explainer videos, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and brand messaging. This role is ideal for a creative individual who excels at bringing static concepts to life through dynamic motion and thrives in a distributed, collaborative work environment. You will have the autonomy to explore new techniques and technologies, pushing the boundaries of visual communication from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality motion graphics , animations, and visual effects for marketing, social media, and corporate communications.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and concepts for animated sequences.
• Animate illustrations, logos, text, and other graphic elements to create engaging video content.
• Edit and assemble raw video footage with motion graphics, sound effects, and music to create polished final products.
• Ensure all motion graphics align with brand identity and project objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in motion graphics and video production.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer , with a strong demo reel or portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D (or similar 3D software).
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting .
• Excellent eye for detail, composition, and aesthetic quality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
