Motionworx is evolving within a broader Nova environment, seeking a hybrid creative who can handle video editing and motion design and guide others as the team grows. You will craft high-quality visual content from edit to final polish while supporting a junior designer to raise the overall standard.

The role emphasizes storytelling, collaboration with internal studio teams, and keeping up with evolving creative approaches, with on-site work and a fast-paced, varied portfolio requirement.

We are looking for a strong hybrid creative who can confidently handle both video editing and motion design, and who is ready to guide others as the team grows. It is a chance to work across the full visual spectrum and help shape how we bring ideas to life in this next phase.

The role

You will play a key part in crafting high quality, engaging visual content from first edit to final polish. As a mid level member of the team, you will also oversee and support a junior creative, reviewing their work and helping raise the standard of everything we deliver.

What you will do

• Video editing: Turn raw footage into clear, engaging and well paced content with strong narrative flow
• Motion design: Create motion graphics and animations that enhance storytelling and elevate the final product
• Conceptual thinking: Collaborate with the team on storyboarding and visual direction
• Finishing: Handle colour correction, grading and sound design to deliver polished outputs
• Review and mentorship: Review the junior designer’s work, give clear and constructive feedback, and help them develop their skills
• Quality control: Make sure every deliverable meets a high creative standard before it goes to the client
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams in studio to bring ideas to life in a cohesive way
• Stay sharp: Keep up with tools, trends and evolving creative approaches

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in both video editing and motion design, or very strong in one with solid capability in the other
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools
• A portfolio that shows both technical skill and creative thinking
• A sharp eye for detail, pacing and storytelling
• Experience reviewing or guiding the work of others, or a clear readiness to step into that responsibility
• Self managed, reliable and comfortable in a collaborative, on site environment
• A clear communicator with a proactive mindset
