We’re looking for aMoodle Back-End Manager / Administratorto join our dynamic team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and integration of our learning management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain our Moodle LMS, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and enrolments.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide second-line technical support.
  • Integrate Moodle with third-party tools (e.g., Zoom, Turnitin, H5P).
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy (e.g., POPIA/GDPR).
  • Support academic teams in leveraging Moodle for teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT, Educational Technology, or related field or proven experience
  • 2+ years of experience administering Moodle or similar LMS.
  • Available immediately

Preferred:

  • Experience in a higher education or training environment.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, Moodle plugins, and basic scripting.
