This role offers the opportunity to support daily money marketand investment administration while delivering professional service to clientsand maintaining strong standards of data integrity and compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Prepare daily call sheets forFinancial Advisors and maintain daily rates, statistical information and supporting financial data.
- Capture and update transactionand client information accurately on internal investment administrationsystems.
- Check and validate informationto protect data integrity, particularly during week-end and month-endprocesses.
- Maintain accurate clientinformation, including tax numbers, addresses, personal particulars andrequired compliance information.
- Perform departmentalreconciliations relating to interest and capital accounts.
- Extract and process bankstatements and maintain supporting financial documentation.
- Process withdrawals and otherauthorised client instructions in line with established procedures.
- Prepare and distribute monthlyclient statements and maintain accurate departmental records.
- Attend to client instructions,queries and requests professionally and timeously.
- Manage year-end documentcontrol and archiving requirements.
- Assist with system and processenhancements, liaising with relevant internal support teams when required.
- Provide general and ad hocadministrative support to the team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Matric with Accountancy and/orPure Mathematics.
- Previous experience in asimilar investment administration or financial administration role.
- Experience with complexreconciliations and/or bookkeeping will be highly advantageous.
- Experience working withfinancial information, transaction processing or client records will be highlyadvantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills,particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial,investment, custody, accounting or document-management systems is advantageous.
