Job Description Summary:

ASI is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer to join our team. This position involves organizing and leading associates in large-scale modeling and simulation exercises, crucial for strategic decision-making and operational planning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in modeling and simulation, coding, and military experience, with specific expertise in AFSIM and other M&S software platforms. A current Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility is required for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and organize associates in large-scale modeling and simulation exercises to support analysis and operational concepts.
• Design and implement systems based on organizational requirements, including the development of integrated simulation tools for wargaming events.
• Develop and execute modeling and simulation projects using AFSIM and other M&S software platforms to support system analysis and decision-making.
• Write and maintain code in relevant programming to enhance system functionalities.
• Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
• Conduct system testing and validation processes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Document system designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Basic Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
• Current Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility.
• Proven experience in modeling and simulation within a systems engineering context, specifically with AFSIM and other M&S software platforms.
• Strong background in Linux systems administration and management.
• Military background or experience working with military systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
