Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintain the backend of Mockshop to ensure a quick clean and accurate interface

  1. Upload images to database.
  2. Correcting images for optimal display. Sizing, deep etching.
  3. Determine & add image attributes not maintained in BuyPlan e.g. garment dimensions.
  4. Create image facing and folding options based on product store position.
  5. Collate & categorise images for optimal end-user experience, analysis.
  6. Upload store plans and maintain database for future store problem solving.

Maintain Mannequin and Torso assets incl. product facings and merchandise placements

  1. Style and Photograph required images of mannequin & torso’s prepared by Brands.
  2. Correcting images for optimal display. Deep etching and upload.
  3. Determine & add image attributes not maintained in BuyPlan.
  4. Create image facing and folding options.
  5. Collate & categorise images for optimal end-user experience.
  6. Create signage holders and import signage options seasonally and monthly for campaigns.

Create and maintain store plans for PIS, Pre-Merchandised fixtures for new store support

  1. Receive and visualise block plans of stores from Brands or GSD. .DXF files for import.
  2. Review & amend layouts with Visual Manager.
  3. Review stock volumes and densities and capacity plan departments for analysis export to Merchant team.

Receive and upload accurate data for Mockshop Use

  1. Uploading of data – ensure backend automation is live and all data streams are current.
  2. Quality assurance of data availability and Clothing measurements maintenance to ensure accuracy of instore placement.
  3. View creation for easy Mockshop Data navigation by brand.

Communication

  1. Visual Presentations delivered and verbal and written communication meet company quality / standards and expectations (comprehensive and factually correct).
  2. Visual Communications prepped for Yoobic with on time launches of all Yoobic store comms.
  3. Ad hoc communication with regards to visual land and implementation.
  4. Assist with model store and housing workshops via Mockshop.
  5. Mock-ups - communicate and facilitate any communication and set up processes required to get relevant sign off for various projects for mock-ups in Mockshop with Visual manager.
  6. Analysis export to enable support for Merchant, Brand and Social departments.
  7. Comms with Merchants to ensure all back-end data is submitted in time for store setup and review.
  8. PIS Store Comms and Layout Review. Present to extended team.

Research

  1. Seasonal research of merchandising standards set by local and international retailers, with special focus on competitor brands.
  2. Back of house viability understanding – adjustments of replenishment rules based on stock volumes and season timing.
  3. Density and Capacity analysis and review with senior allocators for upcoming seasons. e.g. stock availability and flow for enhanced store comms.

VM Support

  1. Monthly store visits with VM team – including Marketing team and visit feedback.
  2. ADHOC upcountry visits – Visual Manager Discretion.
  3. Communicate with store teams to ensure they understand VM plans and can execute at store level.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. 3 years of Visual Merchandising experience
  2. 2 years of Technical Design experience (such as InDesign or Photoshop)
  3. 2 years of Fashion/Retail or Interior Design experience
  4. Must understand the fundamentals of Visual Merchandising.

Skills

  1. Technical Drawing using tools such as AutoCAD, Mockshop or any store design platform.
  2. Visual Merchandising Communication.
  3. Spatial awareness/Spatial planning.
