Job summary

Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an Automotive Mobile Mechanic for field service with private and business customers in a mobile workshop setting. You will perform high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs and work with an experienced team using company-provided tools.

Starting salary is £32,000 depending on experience, with a fully equipped van, pension, training and career progression opportunities, and full uniform provided.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanical experience in a garage or mobile environment.
• At least 1 year of mobile mechanic experience.
• Good knowledge of a wide range of CV and hybrid vehicle makes and models.
• Able to travel daily and work outdoors in a mobile role.
• Excellent time management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Travel to private and business customers to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out repairs and diagnostics from a mobile workshop vehicle.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and document work performed.

The Role

As an Automotive Mobile Mechanic, you will travel to private and business customers to carry out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs from a fully equipped mobile workshop vehicle. You will be supported by an experienced team and provided with the tools required to succeed in the role.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of a wide range of CV and hybrid vehicle makes and models
• Willingness to work additional hours when required
• 2–4 years of mechanical experience in a garage or mobile environment
• At least 1 year of mobile mechanic experience
• Confidence carrying out more complex roadside repairs
• Able to work independently using own initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous customer-facing experience
• Prepared to travel daily
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Comfortable working outdoors in a mobile role
