Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town, South Africa invites a skilled Mobile Test Analyst to join our digital experience team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS and 3+ years in mobile testing or app development, with 5 years' hands-on Android and iOS experience, and a strong backend integration understanding.

You'll monitor app design updates, document test cases, test interfaces, and troubleshoot bugs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 3 years of mobile testing and/or mobile app development experience.
• 5 years of hands-on Android and iOS development experience.
• 5 years of experience as a mobile test analyst.
• 5 years of experience in mobile app development with Android and iOS.
• Digital experience; insurance/financial services experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of back-end integration.
• Willingness to explore new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for updates to application design and app functionality.
• Document and evaluate all test cases.
• Test the implementation of application interfaces.
• Exercise the business logic of the application under test.
• Troubleshoot and fix application bugs.
• Provide testing support for web applications.
• Uses appropriate tools to create test scripts, identify and edit tests, and maintain the test environment.
