You will be based in our Johannesburg office as part of Orphoz, working closely and in partnership with client's senior management and their specialist departments. Your impact within our firm

You will implement transformation office projects in the private sector, ensuring long-term impact delivery. As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will lead business transformation people change projects including restructuring, execution of turnaround, and post-merger implementation by engaging at a deep level across our clients' businesses, working in teams to build the capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and then ensure those results will be sustained.

You will also lead, coach, and motivate your team of consultants and client employees in each project. In addition, you will act as a subject matter expert, combining experience with strong problem-solving abilities to derive business insights and solid recommendations for clients.

Another part of your impact is to contribute to the implementation of our Delivery group's growth strategy, and you will take responsibility for the development of the firm and grow in a stimulating and human environment where quality of life at work is important.

Your qualifications and skills

  1. 8+ years of professional experience including some coming from a consulting environment with high problem-solving ability.
  2. 2+ years experience delivering and executing large scale business transformation projects such as turnaround, restructuring, M&A PMI post-merger implementation, capability building, organizational structure, and setting up a Transformation office.
  3. 3+ years industry sector expertise in GEM Mining, Financial Services Banking or Telecommunications.
  4. Bachelor's degree, preferably in financial or similar field with strong record of academic achievement.
  5. Experience developing business unit strategy and leading large-scale change programs, preferably while establishing strong relationships with senior clients.
  6. You have experience leading people and building teams, empowering team members to achieve impact.
  7. You enjoy the flexibility and agility that is required in a consulting environment.
  8. You are experienced in conducting workshops and coaching sessions.
  9. You are driven by creating long-lasting impact and enjoy leading teams to achieve results.
