Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for operating mobile truck and trailer scales at client sites, accurately capturing weight data, and supporting the team with driving and general office duties when not out in the field. This is not a desk job—it’s a hands-on role that requires initiative, attention to detail, and a strong team spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites using the company vehicle to conduct truck / trailer weighing using mobile scale equipment.
• Accurately record weighing data into provided Word templates.
• Ensure proper handling and calibration of mobile scale equipment.
• Act as a driver for ad hoc duties and site visits as requested.
• Provide general assistance at the office during quieter periods.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively when interacting with clients.
• Undertake long-distance travel when required (accommodation and meals covered by the client).

Requirements

• Matric (essential).
• Valid SA Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Own reliable transport to get to work (Benoni-based).
• Basic computer literacy (Word proficiency required).
• Willingness to travel and assist in multiple areas of the business.
• Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and a proactive, level-headed personality.
