Job summary

ODIN Checkpoint in South Africa seeks a Software Engineer (Mobile .NET MAUI) to design, develop, enhance and support its Android and iOS apps. You will work within a MS/.NET ecosystem, collaborating across product, QA, web and backend teams to deliver secure, scalable mobile solutions.

The role requires 3–7+ years in mobile development, strong C#/MAUI skills, backend integration experience and a focus on offline capability and reliability in demanding environments.

Qualifications

Formal tertiary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
3 to 7+ years of software development experience with mobile apps.
Experience with cross‑platform mobile development and backend integration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance and maintain ODIN Checkpoint mobile applications for Android and iOS.
Contribute to mobile architecture, code quality and maintainability.
Develop offline-first capabilities, local data storage and sync logic.
Integrate mobile app with backend APIs and cloud services.
Investigate and resolve defects, improve performance and stability.
Collaborate with product, QA, web and Backend teams to refine requirements.
Participate in release prep, verification and post-release support.
