Job summary

ODIN Checkpoint in South Africa seeks a Software Engineer (Mobile .NET MAUI) to design, develop, enhance and support its Android and iOS apps. You will work within a MS/.NET ecosystem, collaborating across product, QA, web and backend teams to deliver secure, scalable mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• Formal tertiary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 7+ years of software development experience with mobile apps.
• Experience with cross‑platform mobile development and backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain ODIN Checkpoint mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, code quality and maintainability.
• Develop offline-first capabilities, local data storage and sync logic.
• Integrate mobile app with backend APIs and cloud services.
• Investigate and resolve defects, improve performance and stability.
• Collaborate with product, QA, web and Backend teams to refine requirements.
• Participate in release prep, verification and post-release support.
