Job summary

Quro Medical is expanding its mobile care team and seeks a compassionate Clinical Associate to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in home settings. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to assess patients, create care plans, administer treatments, and monitor progress, while documenting thoroughly.

The role requires HPCSA registration, strong clinical skills, and excellent communication. A vehicle for home visits is preferred to support patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Clinical Associate with up to date HPCSA registration.
• Prior experience in a hospital or home healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in administering medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy and compassion for patients and their families.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and management to patients served by Hospital at Home.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting the care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
