Placements24 is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to craft high-performance native apps for iOS and Android in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will design, develop, test, and deploy across the full mobile lifecycle, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to ship features.

Strong expertise in Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android, plus experience with RESTful APIs, Xcode, Android Studio, and Git, is required.

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing technology startup specializing in mobile solutions, is looking for a talented Mobile Application Developer proficient in both iOS and Android development. You will be involved in the entire mobile app lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced native mobile applications for both the iOS and Android platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in mobile application development, with a portfolio showcasing both iOS and Android apps. Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for iOS development, and Kotlin/Java for Android development. Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services. Experience with common mobile development tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Git). Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
