Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong ML background to join the Mahikeng team. You will work on developing, training, and deploying models for predictive analytics and clustering, handling large datasets and translating business needs into DS solutions.

You will collaborate with domain experts, apply advanced statistical techniques, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving data-driven decisions across projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science or a related field.
• Proven experience applying ML algorithms to real-world problems.
• Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong statistical modeling, data mining, and data visualization skills.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy ML models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering.
