Nicfurniture is seeking a seasoned Risk Advisory leader with extensive mining sector experience to shape client strategies, strengthen governance frameworks, and drive growth across a diverse portfolio of engagements. You will guide executive leadership teams, boards and audit committees, lead complex projects, and build high-performing teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) essential.
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) advantageous.
• Around 12 years of experience in Risk Advisory, Internal Audit, Governance, Risk Management, or Assurance Services.
• At least 5–6 years of leadership experience at Senior Manager level or above.
• Extensive mining sector experience is essential.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Internal Audit and Risk Advisory practice.
• Drive growth initiatives aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, boards, audit committees, and senior stakeholders.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships across the mining sector.
• Oversee the delivery of complex internal audit, risk management, and governance engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining high quality.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the mining and broader industrial sectors.
• Lead proposal development, presentations, and client pitches.
• Contribute to revenue growth and profitability targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Champion knowledge sharing and professional development.
