Job summary

Network Finance represents a leading mining group in the North West seeking an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to own the stores function and ensure accurate inventory, budget adherence and timely material availability for production.

You will lead a hands-on team, drive improvements, and implement robust inventory controls in a fast-paced operation, aligning with safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, operations or engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years in a stores/inventory role in mining or heavy industry.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage stores and inventory function
• Control stock levels, consumables and inventory accuracy
• Oversee purchasing, receiving and issuing of stock
• Manage goods receipts and stock movements
• Drive inventory planning and budget control
• Monitor stock variances and improve inventory processes
• Lead and develop the stores team
• Ensure compliance with procedures and inventory controls
