Job summary

Sasol Mining is seeking a Finance professional to manage budgeting, impairment testing, and rehabilitation provisions. The role requires strong experience in budgeting, consolidation, and audit-ready reporting within the mining sector.

You will partner with Mining leadership and Group Finance to deliver accurate financial insights, robust controls, and compliant reporting. A 3–4 year degree and 6+ years’ relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-4 year relevant university degree required.
• 6+ years’ experience in mining or equivalent finance environment.
• Strong budgeting, impairment testing, and SOX control knowledge.
• Experience with SAP and OneStream financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the budget process for Sasol Mining and related entities.
• Perform impairment testing and oversee SMOG and rehabilitation provisions.
• Ensure accuracy of budget consolidations and high-quality audit information.
• Support management with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
