Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' managerial experience within a mining environment.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Trade Test in Electrical Engineering included.
• Flameproof and Gas Testing qualification required.
• Grade 12 or higher as minimum educational qualification.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.
• Own accommodation in the Northern Cape area.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subordinates, facilitating interdepartmental communication and resource allocation.
• Manage performance of direct operations staff, including discipline and development.
• Monitor SLA performance and drive corrective action where targets are at risk.
• Attend client meetings as scheduled and provide meaningful reporting to senior management.
• Design strategies to ensure day-to-day services are controlled and client needs are met.
• Recommend and design policies to reduce costs and improve service efficiency.
