Placements24 is seeking a skilled Millwright Technician for an industrial maintenance role in Paarl. You will install, align, and service pumps, motors, gearboxes, and processing equipment while performing preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has a qualified Millwright trade certification and proven experience in industrial maintenance, with strong hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings. Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Millwright with recognized trade certification.
• Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and installation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools, as well as measurement instruments.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
