Description

RPO Recruitment's client is urgently seeking South African Millwrights to work in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Visa and sponsorship assistance will be provided. The successful candidates will be responsible for the availability of electrical installations, including medium voltage (10kV) systems, power and lighting distribution, as well as instrumentation and control technology (Siemens PCS7 system).

Responsibilities:

• Involved in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and overhaul tasks
• Performing periodic inspections on system components and tools
• Assessing maintenance condition based on checklists and judgment
• Performing corrective maintenance during scheduled inspections
• Supervising parts of the installation during maintenance shutdowns, guiding contractors, and ensuring safety and quality
• Troubleshooting systems and components based on notifications or work orders
• Assessing faults and determining repair actions
• Proposing improvements and creating technical drawings
• Installing/connecting measurement and control systems and programming components
• Keeping documentation and drawings up to date
• Ensuring safe work operations, switching in cabinets, and securing installations

Requirements:

• Matric / N4 qualification
• Millwright Trade Test certification
• N1-N6 qualifications are highly advantageous
• South African Driver's License
• Completed 3-year apprenticeship
• 35 years of experience as an Electrician
• Fluent in Afrikaans (mandatory)
• Experience in any industry
• Familiarity with MS Office and SAP
• Basic knowledge of German is advantageous
• Technical insight, problem analysis, flexibility, proactive attitude, teamwork, and communication skills

Benefits:

• Salary: R42,000 - R54,000 per month (approx. R86,000 - R73,000 annually)
