MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Possession of a Millwright Red Seal qualification.
2. Solid experience in hydraulics & pneumatics, with 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
3. Proven experience working with press machines, 4 - 6 years.
4. Strong mechanical & electrical background/experience.
5. Demonstrated leadership ability by leading from the front.
6. Effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
7. Hands-on approach with pride in work performed.
8. Attention to detail and perseverance to ensure accuracy.
9. Total commitment to product quality.
10. Ability to plan, organize, and control costs.
11. Manage maintenance expenses within budget.
12. Manage procurement and control of raw materials for clay preparation.
13. Ability to develop and implement process control systems.
14. Positive attitude, willingness to work long hours, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
15. A minimum of 7 years of factory maintenance experience, with 5 years in a team leader or similar role, is advantageous.

KEY PERFORMANCE

1. Ensure that the quality of products meets the desired standards and specifications, including consistency and quality of the produced goods.
2. Expertise in hydraulics and press operations, with 4 - 6 years of solid experience.
3. Develop and ensure the implementation of relevant process controls.
4. Maintain all equipment.
5. Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
6. Oversee purchasing and financial controls for consumable materials to ensure product quality.
7. Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to health & safety regulations.
