JOB TITLE: Millwright Apprentice

JOB LOCATION: LordsView Factory

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role, the incumbent will hold a temporary apprenticeship position, learning and applying technical skills to support the business through restorative and preventive maintenance. The apprentice will learn from facilitators and mentors, completing all tasks reasonably requested by the business.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering Diploma and/or N3 (Mechanical & Electrical)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in engineering and operations environments
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Attend all classroom and practical training full-time
• Complete technical tasks related to mechanical and electrical work
• Participate in on-the-floor equipment maintenance as prescribed
• Engage in technical problem solving
• Close tags as part of corrective maintenance activities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Be a team player
• Fluent in English
• Willing to work at heights in noisy and dusty environments
• Able to work shifts and extended hours when required
