Millwright

Requirements :

• Trade Tested Millwright qualification.
• 5+ years post-trade test experience in a similar role.
• Experience with PLC / VSD Drives and underground machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
• Must speak Afrikaans.
• Valid medical certificate (fit for underground work).
• Clear criminal record.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintenance, repairs, and installation of mechanical & electrical equipment (surface & underground).
• PLC / VSD programming, fault finding, and panel wiring.
• Conduct safety checks and root cause analysis.
• Manage workshop repairs, stock, and attend to breakdowns with urgency.
• Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules.
