Job description

Location: The Netherlands (on-site)

We are looking for passionate, junior maintenance professionals with experience in a production environment (agricultural, mining, or similar) to join us in The Netherlands!

Who are you:

• A RED SEAL (Trade Tested), N5 or N6, Millwright, Industrial Electrician, Fitter & Turner, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering Diploma (preferably in process or mechanical fitting and turning or millwright);
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (a must, as the company's language is Dutch);
• All-round experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance on machines;
• Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, welding (stainless steel / aluminum), Siemens PLC (a plus), relays, frequency switches;
• Experience in a food production environment or in the mining industry;
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machines in a production line;
• 2-4 years of experience maximum;
• Possession of a valid driver’s license & passport;
• Willing to work in shifts.

What do we offer?

Contract details:

• 2-year contract for 40 hours per week;
• 25 paid holidays per year (+ potential ADV days);
• Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, paid by Xelvin;
• Holiday allowance of 8.33% (instead of 8.0%) over your total gross annual income, paid each May;
• Overtime and shift allowances paid accordingly;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km for commuting;
• The salary will be approximately €4100 gross per month (IND-VISA norm for candidates under 30).
