Job summary

National Asphalt is seeking an experienced Millwright to join the Estcourt maintenance team. You will install, align and maintain industrial machinery, troubleshoot issues, read technical drawings, and perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.

The role requires a Red Seal Millwright with at least two years in a manufacturing setting, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to travel to other regional sites for support. Safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Red Seal as Millwright with minimum 2 years in industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools.
• Hands-on maintenance/manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience in hydraulic system design and maintenance advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and full computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong administrative skills and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.

Job description

National Asphalt is looking for an experienced and safety-focused Millwright to join our maintenance team in Estcourt. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the reliable operation of plant and equipment through the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of industrial machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimising downtime and maintaining optimal plant performance.

While based at our Estcourt commercial site, the successful incumbent will be required to travel to other operational sites within the region to provide maintenance and technical support when needed.
