Job summary

Head Professionals is seeking a trade-tested Millwright to join the maintenance team in the Netherlands on a permanent contract. You will perform breakdown and planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, reading drawings to troubleshoot faults, and work with operators and electricians to resolve issues while relocation is arranged by us.

You must hold a Millwright trade test (Red Seal) with N3 or higher and have at least 2 years in a production environment.

• At least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Fluent Afrikaans and English.
• Ready to relocate long term.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Planned maintenance on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and drives.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Bearing replacement, shaft alignment and general fitting work.
• Reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Collaborate with operators and electricians to address recurring faults.

Trade-tested Millwright? Earn €4,357 gross per month on a permanent contract in the Netherlands.

Head Professionals places South African tradespeople with large industrial employers across the Netherlands, in food production and heavy industry. The work

You’ll be part of the maintenance team that keeps production lines running. Day to day:

• Breakdown maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Planned maintenance on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and drives
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Bearing replacement, shaft alignment and general fitting work
• Reading technical drawings and schematics
• Working with operators and electricians to sort out recurring faults properly
